Long Reach High School is a public high school located in Columbia, Maryland. It is part of the Howard County Public School System. In 2013, Newsweek ranked Long Reach as one of the top 2,000 high schools in the country.〔http://www.newsweek.com/2013/05/06/america-s-best-high-schools.html〕 ==History== In 1995, Long Reach High School, was built in Columbia, Maryland. The school was one of three new county schools opened in 1996 after a 16-year gap.
